Personalized Wedding Ceremonies Why Consider Me As Your Wedding Officiate I do not book more than one wedding a day, am there 1 hour prior to the ceremony to confirm details, review the processional with the site coordinator as well as ceremony music with the musician. I check on other wedding related items such as a Unity Candle. I am available to say a prayer before the wedding dinner. I see your wedding day as a process, not merely a ceremony where I show up and must leave by a certain time. I am there as long as you wish. I am a writer and poet. In our face to face meeting I get the important details of how you met, fell in love, dated and became engaged. I learn the things you love in each other. I then custom write the ceremony and weave your story into the Opening Greeting of the ceremony. This is where couples get the most feedback from their family and friends who enjoyed hearing very special and personal details about the couple they know and love. They will remember and talk about the ceremony long after the wedding. As an All Denominational Reverend, I was ordained to know and officiate the traditions of all religions. If you are of the same faith, we use the traditions of that faith and if you are of different faiths, I suggest customs from each and if you are more spiritual than religious, the ceremony is written accordingly. I give you guidance on choices of scripture, readings, vows, unity candle, hand ceremony, rose exchange or sand ceremony. You may have ideas of your own or something you have seen at other weddings. In addition I offer something else -- before or after the wedding, only if requested and this service further sets me apart from other officiates. In addition to being an Ordained Reverend, I am a Life Coach and Therapist and offer couple’s marriage counseling and coaching. I support couples to treasure and nurture their love and to address bumps in the road when and if they hit them. Arrange for your ceremony interview today. Reverend Judith O'Connor |
