Please accept my personal congratulations and blessings. This is an important time in your lives and a celebration like no other. In addition to the fun and excitement of the time, planning your wedding can also feel overwhelming, filled with details and emotional challenges.

Here is where you will discover why couples, families and friends recognize me as a professional who brings a sense of calm and support where needed. I have been privileged to work with individuals and couples for 14 years as a Non-Denominational Minister, counselor, teacher, motivator and inspirer of people.

As you read through my web page, you will see my commitment to work with you to develop a ceremony that is written especially for you, the couple -- your courtship, your relationship, your union. It is my desire to work with you to create a memorable wedding ceremony to incorporate the significant points in your lives, as well as your love, beliefs and values.

Your ceremony can be traditional, contemporary or a combination of both. A more contemporary service could include further participation of the wedding party, family and/or friends... to read poetry, sing or play a song, participate in a circle of flowers ceremony, or do something special for you as the bride and groom. You may choose specific vows, or write your own. The ceremony could take place in the location of their choice, anywhere in the Tri-State Area - New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

I also write ceremonies for second or subsequent marriages to include children or family participation. Whether you are traditional, conservative, non-denominational, interfaith or spiritual, the ceremony that is just right for you can be developed. If you want to reaffirm your vows or have a special ceremony for any occasion, I would be pleased to serve you.

"Like every bride, I wanted the perfect wedding. However, not everything went perfectly. There were not as many flowers on the cake as I had wanted, and the DJ forgot our married name when he introduced us into the reception hall. However, our ceremony went beautifully, thanks to our devoted, warm and professional minister, Judith O'Connor.

Our ceremony went so well because my fiancee Mike, Judith and I all worked very hard to create exactly what we wanted. Judith was involved in every step of our ceremony process. When we initially met with Judith, Mike and I gave her all of our ideas, and she shared hers in return. At no time did Judith insist that we do it "her way". She was very open to co-creating, and that was exactly what we wanted. Her open-mindedness was just what we wanted because we wanted our ceremony to be both traditional and contemporary. Judith suggested the Unity Candle for a traditional ritual, and the Rose Ceremony for something more contemporary. But, most of all, we wanted our ceremony to scream Kim and Mike! - and that is exactly what it did. Judith then wrote another draft for us to fine tune, and during the process she always offered words of support, encouragement and wisdom, taking the time to get to know us better as a couple and as individuals. This was really important to us because we wanted the person who married us to know us. We didn't want someone to marry us that could only remember our name by reading it off a card.

With Judith, a professional and warm relationship was built which really came across the day of our wedding. Judith has a commanding presence, which held everyones attention, but never took away from the fact that the day belonged to my husband and I.

For the bride and groom who want someone to take the lead OR who want to co-create OR want to be in complete control of their ceremony, Judith is the perfect minister, as she is so flexible and open-minded.
